- Avoid contact with perfumes, oils, creams and lotions
- Jewellery will naturally tarnish. Using a professional jewellery polishing cloth is a good way to keep your jewellery bright
- Avoid cleaning or swimming while wearing your jewellery, as various chemicals and detergents can damage your jewellery over time

Gold Plated

- Gold plating is a very thin coating of gold on top of a different metal base. Gold plated GM Jewellery pieces all have a sterling silver base
- Gold plating can and will likely wear off over time. To lengthen the life of your gold plated jewellery, follow the above advice and avoid contact with water while wearing the jewellery, aside from carefully cleaning it when necessary
